Our Mission

The Progressive Action Group's Mission is to provide a supportive enviroment for anyone who is affected by Stroke or any other Disability, to improve the quality of their lives and to increase the awareness of Strokes and other Disabilities in the Community.

Who we are

Our group is a collective of people disabled by stroke or any other disability and their carers or family. Membership is open to any adult with a disability living in the Aberystwyth area.

What we do

We organise a multitude of activities, events and outings aiming to.

Build confidence and increase the well-being of members through social interaction

     Assist in rehabilitation.

Build up capacity for independent living.

Encourage our members to be more outgoing.

Our Arts and Crafts activities stimulate and grow creativity and our IT training empowers our members with use of the internet and the latest computer skills.

We have a formal constitution. The Trustees keep formal accounts of our finances and minutes are taken at our meetings.

Our Web-Site

This site has been developed by members of Penparcau Progressive Action Group with

assistance from the Wales CVC Circuit Riders Project, to promote our activities and to encourage new members to join us, to display our work and above all to show all Stroke sufferers and people with other disabilities that they are capable of anything they put their minds to!

With thanks to.
